Jenny Dennis began baking as a child in Sharonville, Ohio where she learned to love the mess of baking. Later, in Glendale, her dream of owning a bakery grew as she continued to get her hands messy in her godmother’s kitchen.

Jenny attended Culinary Arts Academy in 1983. She went on to work in hotels, restaurants and later as a caterer. Realizing her dream in 1996, Jenny opened Bluebird Bakery on the promise that she would maintain a “from-scratch bakery.”

Through the expansion of Bluebird in 2001, additions of breakfast and lunch items to the menu and extended hours, Jenny has stayed true to that promise.
